Abstract [eng] Thesis presents synthesis of polypyrrole-2-carboxylic acid and its application in glucose biosensors. These analytical devices are able to specifically detect glucose in complex samples. Biosensors are being developed in order to design stable, long-lasting, reliable analytical tool. In this work polypyrrole-2-carboxylic acid was synthesized by enzymatic, chemical and electrochemical synthesis. Polymer particles synthesized by enzymatic catalysis, using glucose oxidase and glucose, and by chemical polymerization, using hydrogen peroxide, were investigated and compared. Polypyrrole-2-carboxylic acid, obtained by chemical polymerization, was modified by glucose oxidase and applied in glucose biosensor. Polypyrrole-2-carboxylic acid layer, obtained by electrochemical polymerization, was modified by glucose oxidase and applied in reagentless glucose biosensor along with 1,10-phenantroline-5,6-dione and gold nanoparticles. Main analytical characteristics were determined and ability to detect glucose in real samples was tested for both biosensors.
