| Abstract [eng] |
Article analyses one of the elements of Community GM food regime – namely labelling requirements for the GM food placed on the market. Firstly the aims and the content of labelling requirements are exami-ned in the context of GMO legal framework and the relevant case-law of the ECJ. Based on this analysis an evaluation is carried out whether this legal framework is suitable and effective in ensuring one of the main aims of GM food labelling – consumers’ right of choice. |
