Theme of thesis ,,Educational assistance in pre-schools in municipality of Radviliškis district: aspects of organization and provision” is chosen, regarding to today’s experience of pre-school teachers and the real current situation of organization and provision of educational assistance. The recommendations of the newest research of scientists are presented for educational assistance provider. The number of children who meets educational problems in early age in pre-schools increases. Therefore, it is a lack of knowledge and understanding for educational assistance provider for fulfilling some functions in a job description, but it is especially important holistic attitude to a child and guarantee of welfare. Positive, collegial relationships of all providers, leadership factors shared by team and partnership communication with child’s family – is a guarantee for the child’s well-being. There are analyzed and systematized various foreign and local scientific literature about organization and provision of educational assistance for the children and their families in pre-school. The research is based on interdisciplinary attitude. It was aspired as possible bigger representativeness of the study, a lot of methods were used of qualitative research (document analysis, questionnaire, interviews). Four pre-schools in Radviliškis district participated during research. Competence of schools to organize and provide educational assistance to a child and family was analyzed, experience and possibilities of educational assistance suppliers were found out for better efficiency. An importance of shared team leadership in pre-school (headmaster, assistance professionals), to ensure miscellaneous, high quality organization of educational assistance and provision for the children and their families is revealed in the final work. Collected information about empowering the child and his family to participate in the educational process, according educational assistance strategy in pre-schools.
