Abstract [eng] Master Thesis contains analysis engagement of employees to processes of quality management: the case of Lean system. The master's thesis consists of three parts: theoretical, methodological and empirical The theoretical part of the work analyzes the concept of employee engagement, the concept of Lean management system, its principles and methods, the possibilities of employee engagement in applying the Lean management system in the organization. In order to investigate how VSDFV Mažeikiai department employees and managers understand engagement in quality management processes and what they see opportunities for improvement of engagement, quantitative – questionnaire survey and qualitative – standardized questionnaire research were conducted using the Lean management system. The methodological part describes the substantiation of the research methodology, quantitative and qualitative methods used for the research, instruments – questionnaire and questionnaire, research sample, course, organization and ethics. The empirical part analyzes the results of quantitative and qualitative research. After analyzing the results of the research, it is concluded that the engagement of the employees of the VSDFV Mažeikiai branch in the Lean quality management system is insufficient, therefore it needs to be improved. Based on the obtained research results, directions for improving the engagement of VSDFV Mažeikiai branch employees in Lean quality management processes are provided, and recommendations for VSDFV Mažeikiai branch management are prepared according to them.
