Abstract [eng] In the context of today's shifting education system, it is important to react to the constant changes in our environment, especially focusing on the teachers, who become the essential factor determining the success of an organization. The quality of provided services depends on the motivation and loyalty of the teachers working in educational establishments. Insufficient level of motivation and loyalty, thus, becomes a significant hurdle in work efficiency and quality. Therefore, this master’s thesis discusses the importance of preschool teachers’ motivation and loyalty to the establishment, factors which increase and decrease motivation, and the influence that teachers’ motivation and loyalty to the establishment has on the effectiveness of the education process. The object of the thesis is preschool teachers’ motivation and loyalty to the establishment. The aim of the thesis is to reveal the ways in which preschool teachers’ motivation and loyalty manifests in an establishment, and how it is connected to the effectiveness of the education process. To achieve the aim of the thesis theoretical (scientific literature and document analysis) as well as empirical research methods were employed. For the latter, a combination of qualitative (analysis of documents from the chosen preschool establishment in Radviliškis, semi-structured interview with the management of the said establishment, a written survey for the preschool educators) and quantitative (a survey for the parents of students going to the preschool establishment) research methods were chosen. According to the empirical research the preschool establishment is invested in keeping teachers who work there motivated and dedicated, as the effectiveness of the education process depends on the teachers’ job satisfaction. The results of the study show that the “X” preschool establishment reinforces the educators’ motivation and loyalty by applying psychological motivational measures such as verbal encouragement, gratitude, support, arranging adequate working conditions, and ensuring opportunities for their professional development. Teachers' financial motivation (with bonuses) is rarely used in the institution. Having analyzed the results of the empirical research, the conclusions and research-based recommendations that could help strengthen motivation and loyalty in the chosen preschool establishment were submitted to the management and the educators working there.
