Interestingly children with learning difficulties attract more attention from researchers and practitioners than gifted children. The interest on education conditions of intellectually gifted children has become more intensive only since 2005, when, first official document, regulating the education of gifted children in Lithuania – Strategy of Education of Gifted Children and Young People – was issued. Therefore, this dissertation becomes of special importance and novelty in Lithuanian context. The theoretical base and empirical research is of high quality, results provide useful insights in the field educational psychology. Therefore, the work encourages further investigations and developments, so it is important to publish it as the monography. |
