Abstract [eng] |
The method of compensation is based on the response to dynamic relationships and expresses strategic approach to the compensation process. Analyzing the role of compensation, Xenderson (2004) proposed a new approach to the compensation scheme, which guarantees the company a fair return, and the staff a possibility to assess their knowledge and skills and achieve a positive quality of working life. The scientific problem of this article can be formulated as follows: the concept of compensation in terms of content and process is sufficiently analysed in scientific personnel management literature worldwide, but in the Lithuanian scientific publications compensation concept, compensation structuring and classification aspects of the compensation package structure are not discussed from personnel management (managerial) point of view.
