There is quite a number of Lithuanian research papers dealing with issues of musical education of children. Scholarly problems in this field exhibit various aspects ranging from development of musical abilities of preschoolers to aesthetical musical education of pupils in the final grades of secondary school. However, such researches are rarely related to vocal culture of pupils. The article gives a brief presentation of scientists writing on topics of musical education of children and contains a newly developed model for development of vocal culture of children, which is based on many musical skills. Therwe are three levels of achievements to indicate levels of abilities. Results of researches as well as correlations between musical abilities are provided. |
