The article deals with theoretical constructs of development of children’s resistance to consumer culture, following postmodernism theory as the one of the consumer society and critical theory as an opposition to consumer society and consumer culture. Conceptions of consumerism, advertising as an element of consumerism are presented and prerequisites for the development of children’s resistance to consumer culture are designed. |
