With growing importance of the internet to the modern society, the online advertising industry expands more and more. Like traditional advertising, the online advertising takes different forms. Banners are one of the forms of advertising on the internet. This article provides analysis of advertising banners used on the web: placement and popularity on webpages of different types. Use of “LC Technologies Eyegaze Analysis” equipment enabled determination of how a user’s eye spots the banners of different types and in different places on the page. |
