Abstract [eng] The article deals with suitability of methods of adaptation of electromechanical servo systems for the compensation for change in load and inertia moments in electromechanical servo systems. The simulation results obtained using MATLAB/Simulink software demonstrate that the parametric adaptation principle has disadvantages – adaptation is not 104 ISSN 1648-8776 JAUNŲJŲ MOKSLININKŲ DARBAI. Nr. 3 (36). 2012 instantaneous, it occurs only after a few cycles and the static load causes the static deviation of the speed. Adaptation is instantaneous during signal adaptation, it occurs within the same cycle. Static deviation of the speed is avoided and desirable speed transient regime is ensured. The P-P I variable structure speed controller does not compensate for the influence of change in inertia moment on the quality of control of the system – the speed dynamic deviation increases 3 times. Thus the most suitable method for the compensation for the change in parameters of the electromechanical servo system is the signal adaptation method that compensates for the influence of changes in the moments of inertia and load torque on the control quality of the system.
