Abstract [eng] Assoc. Prof. Eglė Prėskienienė has been working in the departmens of the two Faculties (Philology / Humanities and Pedagogy / Education) of Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute / Šiauliai Universitety for nearly 50 years. In addition to poems, essays, and civic journalism, a number of pedagogical-methodological works were published. The author's publications, like those by other university teachers, were neither classified nor scrutinized in terms of their contribution to the Science and Culture Foundation of the Institute or to the development of a scientific branch of science. There was no such tradition at that time. The publications can be grouped and analyzed in terms of subject-matter, genre, and the place of publication. they can be classified on the basis of a criterion of variability of authorship. In the given approach monodic, tandem, and mentoring authorships can be identified. This specifies/concretizes traditional concepts: author (mono-authorship, monodic authorship) and co-author (tandem or mentoring authorship where a couple of researchers are involved). Poly-authorship and multi-authorship are also possible. The majority of works by Assoc. Prof. Eglė Prėskienienė is pedagogical-methodological publications: articles, theses, textbooks for primary school pupils, teaching aids for students. Tandem authorship is represented by the 2nd year reader ("Ąžuolėlis") compiled in liaison with Assoc. Prof. V. Ramonaitė and a few methodological articles designed for teachers. Assoc. Prof. Eglė Prėskienienė's mentoring authorship is sparse: one article written in liaison with a primary school teacher and the other article produced in collaboration with a former student, the Master of Education.
