Culturological paradigm marks an outbreak in the area of social epistemology, when the researcher finds it important not only to demonstrate certain separate competences in the areas of the analysis of theoretical literature or the empirical survey (bearing in mind its instrumental aspect) but also in science methodology. This is distinct in two doctoral theses in the field of educology, defended at iauliai university in 2011: Deivida Vandzinskaitė’s “Sociocultural Adaptation of Service-Learning at the Lithuanian University” and Eglė Virgailaitė-Mečkauskaitė’s “Development of Intercultural Competence in the Context of Internationalisation of Higher Education (Aspect of Master Studies)“. |
