Abstract [eng] The article analyses ways of manifestation of national identity construction, based on post-modern philosophy theories. The influence of grand narratives/master narratives and power discourses on (self-)construction of pupils’ identity is disclosed. Based on the theory of construction of the new discourse on identity, the discussion is presented, which is proposed to be taken as a foundation for creation of the methodological approach of the hermeneutic classroom, which creates possibilities for practicing construction of one’s own internalised identity.
