The paper presents theoretical and empirical analysis of features typical for the children with fluent speech disorders on the data of the survey of speech therapists (N = 96) in Lithuania. The research also reveals distinctive features between stuttering and cluttering. By interviewing speech therapists (N = 4), having the qualification category of an expert, efficient ways of speech therapy are revealed in working with children with stuttering or cluttering. On the basis of the authentic research data, the strategies of speech therapy, by including school and family community members in the education process of children with fluent speech disorders, are reflected upon. |
