Based on historical-cultural reconstructionism, the article explains the genesis of educational meaningfulness of the concepts of child and family leisure in various epochs. It discloses the content of the discourse in the categories "the child in the family", "the family and the child", and "the family with the child". Based on the materials of historical-cultural researches on childhood carried out by scientists Aries (1962), Kon (1988), Bhatti and Church (2000); Clarke and Critcher (1985), Horna (1994), Rojek (1985), Veal and Lynch (2001), the article presents facts and concepts from the history of childhood. Based on them, the cultural-informational meaningfulness of the genesis of historical concepts of child and family leisure, as of a joint living of adults and the child at home, in a private or public environment, for nowadays is explained. The analysis of the philosophical-value content of the concepts "the child as a small man", "the child as an individual" discloses the philosophy of child-centred leisure and grounds educational opportunities of such leisure. Reflecting the historical-cultural genesis of the concepts of child and family leisure, knowledge enabling to decline traditional (anti-positivist), adult-centred understanding of the child's leisure is accentuated. |
