| Abstract [eng] |
Research on 11 rhododendron species and infraspecific taxa development at the Botanical Garden of Šiauliai University is presented in this article. Almost the same rhododendron taxa were characterized by the most intense and the slowest development in all substrates. Deciduous rhododendrons grow more intensively than evergreen ones regardless of the substrate. Growth intensity of the pricked out rhododendrons is determined not only by substrate composition, but also by individual biological properties of plants. |
