On November 20, 2009, the 8th continuous international scientific conference “Teacher Training in the 21 c.: Changes and Perspectives” took place at the library of Šiauliai University (Vytauto St. 84). It was organized by the Faculty of Education Studies of Šiauliai University (Lithuania) in cooperation with Riga Teacher Training and Education Management Academy (Latvia) and Liepaja University (Latvia). The conference was funded by the Lithuanian State Science and Studies Foundation. The conference was attended by famous Lithuanian and foreign scientists, representatives of the Presidency of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Science and Education, teachers-practicians, and bachelor, master and doctoral students. |
