There has been analysed one of the evolutionary algorithms mechanisms inspired by biological evolution: reproduction, mutation, recombination, and selection. It is essential to choose the appropriate settings for each issue. This helps solve the problem quickly and well. Evolutionary algorithms is one of the most customizable fields. Evolutionary algorithms often perform well when approximating solutions to all types of problems because they ideally do not make any assumption about the underlying landscape; this generality is shown by successes in fields as diverse as engineering, art, biology, economics, marketing, genetics, operations research, robotics, social sciences, physics, politics. |
