Photographic hermeneutics concentrates our attention on the interaction between the name and the view. Definition is always connected with the possibilities of a certain language and importance of its explanation. Explanation and definition are connected on the language level. Definition is connected with possibilities of language expresion and communication. It is impossible to define all things directly. It is impossible to say everything directly. Sometimes indirect speech is worth using. The view and the visual language is a kind of indirect speech. The language of photography is one of the forms of visual language. There are two different ways of defining Šiauliai photographers. [...]. |
