Abstract [eng] The aim of the present article is to discuss influences and local context of formation of Lithuanian normative prose in the middle of the 20"' century. The research object is prose works written in 1940s-1950s with regard to regulations of party criticism when Russian and other nations' Soviet literature was a constant example to follow. An example of clear scheme and purposeful ideological impact could be easily shifted to other literature. The structural model of normative Lithuanian prose text reminds of didactic prose tra-ditions of the 19"' century. Both in didactic prose of the 19* century and normative prose of the 20"' century, we find the universal model of a didactic text. These both prose models bear a relevant issue of practical value, application which was raised as early as by representatives of Classicism. These texts are united by addresser's active position as well. In structure of normative prose, we find the poetics' scheme which exactly was perfected by didactic literature authors: topicality of the theme, opposition of positive vs. negative characters, opposition of the past vs. present, constant system of images. Short stories, novellas and novels - all these of 1940s-1950s were edited according to compulsory party criticism requirements of the time.
