Abstract [eng] The problem of nakedness of stone arises both on the abstract and visual levels of photography. Lots of efforts have been made to define stone and nakedness from the conventional and unconventional points of view. However, the interaction between stone and nakedness has not been properly described yet. Photography helps to disclose this phenomenon. Being a branch of art, photography reveals the truth hidden in the photograph itself. The nakedness of stone in photographical art directs to the nakedness of body. Stripping is followed by the nakedness of body, which reveals the nakedness of stone. The open, unprotected nakedness of stone appears before the secret, hidden or controlled human nakedness. In this article the author chooses the method of phenomenological variation of photographical view. It is an attempt to see the form of nakedness hidden in the photographical view. The examples of variations are taken from Ričardas Dailidė’s photographical album The Labyrinth of Time.
