Abstract [eng] Investigations on partisan fights and related heritage are an inseparable part of analysis of changes in armed resistance. Detailed examination of Soviet policy towards partisan warfare shows that military propaganda started forming memory, a 'correct' version of partisan warfare. Public discussions about the years of armed resistance started from the very beginning ofthe National Revival Movement Sąjūdis and the restoration of Lithuania 's Independence. Victims and former supporters of the Soviet regime found themselves on opposite sides. Soviet propaganda was very aggressive and covered all areas of daily life. For that reason processes were complicated during the National Revival Movement. From the beginning of Sąjūdis research on partisan warfare focused on counter-propaganda. lts aim was to disclaim the Soviet version of partisan warfare. Heritage of the sites of partisan fights is one of the thernes of partisan warfare.
