Abstract [eng] The article analyses the images of the café and coffee from three books of Gintaras Patackas Kapitono Homero vaikai, Jauni patrakėliai petrarkos and Dviveidis Janas. The conception of modernism (surrealism), the reader, and the play are based on the articles of Rolan Barthes, Jurij Lotman, and Johan Huizinga. Surrealistic images of café and coffee in Gintaras Patackas poetry express homeless, carnival space, poetic mask of surrealism, the parody of the romantic writing. In the Kavamanija the comic surrealistic laud of coffee is the mask of surrealism, which means the death of the author as the hero of romantism. In the Meditacija prie lango su cigarete, kava is the parody of the romantic writing, of the poetical inspiration and meditation. In the Šventė two intertexts are played with: quotations from The Fateful Adventures of the Good Soldier Švejk During the World War of Jaroslav Hašek, and A Moveable Feast of Ernest Hemingway. The cycle of poems Kauno senamiesčio kavinių bliuzai ir rapsodijos express improvisation, which the poet marked the terms of jazz. The composition of the poem Duonos valgymas. “Skliautas”, 96 10 24 is focuses on the principles of the blues and the rhapsody. The improvisation is based on the variation – transformation of two different topics of the eaters of bread: on the Bible and on Romualdas Granauskas’ story Duonos valgytojai. The surrealistic vision of the cafe Skliautas expresses the conception of the naturalism of the writing. “In the blues” of... [to full text].
