Master‘s thesis analyses the implementation and development possibilities of electronic public services in local government. There‘s a lack of systematic analysis of public services and particulary - electronic public services in scientific literature. The main problematic questions of this Master‘s thesis: how do municipalities carry out implementation and development of electronic public services? What are the situation and problematic features of implementation of electronic public services in Pasvalys district municipality? What are the possibilities of electronic public services development in Pasvalys district municipality? Master‘s thesis analyses theoretical aspects of implementation and further development of electronic public services: electronic public services as the instrument of the new public governance, the concept of electronic public services notions and interfaces. It has been reviewed the main trends of electronic public services in Lithuania and in abroad. In the empirical part there are presented implementation and possibilities of developement of electronic public services in Pasvalys district municipality. |
