The master 's thesis analyzes the team provision of integrated care at home in the context of social work. In the first part of the master's thesis, the analysis of the social work aspect in the theoretical paradigms of meeting personal needs is performed, based on the scientific insights of Lithuanian and foreign authors. Theoretical assumptions of integrated home help, reflecting the relationship between service needs and provision possibilities, are revealed, analyzing the social needs of the elderly and disabled and theories of their satisfaction, the complexity of integrated help in social work, as well as the provision and organization of integrated help services at home. Peculiarities of teamwork in providing integrated assistance in a person's home are revealed. In the empirical part of the master's thesis, the analysis of integrated home care in the contexts of social work is performed. The attitudes of service providers and service recipients and their relatives towards integrated home care were analyzed (for an analysis of the attitudes of relatives, see Annex 2). Based on the principles of integral assistance described in the theoretical part, a qualitative study of content analysis was performed using a semi-structured interview. The developed questionnaire allowed to understand the situation of providing integrated home help, possibilities of teamwork, cooperation with the personal environment, possibilities of inter-institutional cooperation. Recipients of integrated assistance services and their relatives were asked about the possibilities to use integrated services at home, the need to provide them, the opportunities for improvement, and communication with the environment. Taking into account the tasks of the final work, conclusions were made and recommendations for social workers providing integrated assistance in a person's home were provided. |
