Abstract [eng] |
Construction of Lithuanian Annuitants Mortality Table It has been observed that mortality of population in any country is rarely homogeneous. Mortality rates depend not only on age and gender but also on other factors such as education, place of residence, wealth or income. The impact of income on average future lifetime and mortality has been analysed in the world for a while. Construction of life (mortality) tables is one of the methods used to estimate life expectancy. Constructed tables provide mortality parameters that are used to calculate average future lifetime and analyse population mortality. In this paper mortality table of likely Lithuanian annuitants is constructed. Analysis is based on mortality data of Lithuanian pensioners and amount of their pension . The central mortality rate is estimated, graduated and extrapolated. The average future lifetime of people with different income is calculated. Conclusions and suggestions for future analysis are given. |
