Abstract [eng] The article analyses how the prosecutors (n = 349) of different Lithuanian regions and various divisions (regional, district and Prosecutor General’s Office) assess the reformation of prosecution service in the years 2010–2012. The participants completed the “Reformation of prosecution service” questionnaire developed by us. The obtained results have shown that prosecutors’ evaluations of the prosecution service reformation was negative: in their estimation the reform didn’t stimulate any positive effects, created various unfavourable results, after reformation didn’t occurred any essential changes in prosecution service, etc. Furthermore, evaluations of our subjects were related with age, previous work experience in the prosecution service, division of the service (regional, district and Prosecutor General’s Office), as well as the dependence to different district services (on the other hand, evaluations of our subjects were not related with sex and size of city or town where they were working). The worked out logistic regression model showed that sex of prosecutors’, dependence to different district services and experienced stress (which is caused by various organizational and management dimensions of prosecution service) may help to forecast approval or disapproval to the proposition that after reformation didn’t occurred any essential changes in prosecution service.
