Abstract [eng] The relevance of the study: The non-formal education activities create an environment where the students’ career competencies spring out: it provides the opportunity to reveal ones capabilities, to deepen and practically use the knowledge acquired during lessons. Nevertheless, the practice of the career competencies’ expression at school is still considered to be without scientific basis, besides, the development and expression of career competencies often lacks systematized education. Moreover, the upper grade students’ expression of career competencies in the school’s non-formal education activities is rarely analyzed in the scientific works. The object of the study: career competencies’ expression of 9-12 grades’ students. The aim of the study: to examine the potentiality of career competencies’ expression in the school’s non-formal education activities of 9-12 grades’ students. The method of the study: the study was carried out using theoretical (analysis of scientific literature), empirical (quantitative data collection methods) and statistical (study results processed and analysed using data processing program Excel) methods.
