Final thesis - vanishing over time. The illustration of animals is compared reciprocally in fine arts branches. The extinction of animals is the problem in graphic collection “The Vanishing over Time”. The aim - to analyse the chosen topic in artistic and scientific aspects, to create a collection of nine works, to convey the animal's disappearance in time. The animal's subject is analysed in the theory part of the thesis. Selected topic’s interfaces are searched in foreign and Lithuanian artists' works. It is overviewed how artists portray animals and how philosophers, writers, scientists describe it. Having collected and analysed the actual material of the theme, it was created collection of nine graphic works. It was made with digital printing method on a certain size white matt plastic panels. |
