Abstract [eng] Clothing, music and writing – are certain personal expressions with which we are constantly confronted and affected by them. In addition, they have a common goal – to reveal the individuality, the mood, emotions and character. Therefore, the aim of the master’s thesis is to combine these spheres of art – clothing, font and music – to a single work, which reveal everything that surrounds a person every day. Thus, the relevance – to reveal the individual’s emotional expression through music, font, realizing it on a garment. To reveal onlooker survive the creator want to convey a sense. The selected musical genre – jazz. Having in mind emotional, expressive, rhythmic sense, it is very close to a completely different field of art – calligraphy. During the process of work creation, jazz is dictating emotion, mood, and calligraphy helps to convey all this on the garment. Therefore, the object of master’s thesis – calligraphic compositions’, influenced by jazz music caused emotions, transferring on transformed clothing. Comparing two different branches of art, the author tries to show how representatives of the individual fields feel jazz. Therefore, the aims of the work are: to find out how artists and musicians describe different jazz styles, with which colors imagine them, and what emotions they experience while listening to the jazz; based on the results of the research and own experience, create a clothing collection “Unfinished emotion”.
