Master's thesis examines civil servants career management of human resources in management context. This work aims are to reveal the human resources management in public sector organizations specificity, career concepts conceptual ambiguity and the specifics of the peculiarities of the content, focusing on issues of the Lithuanian civil service career management system. Master's thesis consists of three main parts, conclusions, recommendations, references and appendixes. The first part discusses the concept of human resource management and to analyse the human resource management of processes in public sector organization, emphasising on career management features. The second part reveals the research methodology and the third part – presents results of complex examination results. According to the survey results was formed hypothetical civil servants career management model, whereby the problem of awareness of career development opportunities in the institution would disappear, greater confidence would appear for civil servants' jury, reduce the influence of leaders while rising „career steps“ of those civil servants who support closer working relationship with the leaders, the level of politization would decrease as well. |
