In the master thesis of „The Implementation Of The Principles Of Good Governance In Local Neighborhoods: the Case of Radviliskis District” the implementation of Good governance in Radviliskis district is being researched and principles are analyzed. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the application of Good governance in Radviliskis district neighborhoods as well as, to evaluate how Seduva and Grinkiskis neighborhoods of Radviliskis district apply the concept of Good governance to management compliance. Hypothetical model of Good governance principles in local neighborhoods is prepared and based. In the first part of the thesis concept of Good governance systematic analysis is made, the implementation of good governance principles in the public sector is described, on good governance of statistical analysis of the data at European level. In the second part qualitative content analysis of documents and expert research are submitted, the implementation of the principles of Good governance in Seduva and Grinkiskis neighborhoods is analyzed and appreciated, excluding problems, interferences, identify measures to improve the situation and providing opportunities for deployment. Was carried out the external environment and internal factors analysis, developed SWOT analysis of neighborhoods, which is presented in annex 1. The study shows that the principles of Good Governance are embodied equivalents Lithuanian legal acts: Public Service Act, the Public Service Law, the Law of Local Self et al., which must be able to follow the Radviliskis district neighborhoods staff, but principles are not fully implemented due to many of problems. A study conducted in Government analysis revealed that the high level of implementation principles in local neighborhoods is only 6 out of 12 principles. |
