Abstract [eng] Relevance of the research. Students are often confronted with violence, and usually with one of the main types of violence, i.e. bullying, in today’s society, particularly in schools. Suffering from bullying has been recently widely discussed and written at different levels. In accordance with the research results (Bullying in Lithuanian Schools: Problems and Solutions 2009), bullying occurs among students in Lithuania very frequently. Students suffer from bullying by other students in adolescence mostly, thought in some cases by teachers as well. Such behavior is detrimental to the psychological climate of the school, the pupils themselves, their well-being, as well as parent-teacher relationships and learning. Bullying can be a factor as the assumptions related to the child's scholastic achievements. Victims of bullying generally have lower academic achievements, according to various authors, that may be associated with bullying experience. Due to the fact that the school environment puts a strain on the child, he or she can concentrate less in the classroom, and it may reduce the desire to learn. Bullying elicits stress, fear, which are the factors that have a negative impact on the teenager, causing confusion in the sense of the presence of chaos, which may affect the quality of learning.
