Research revelance: Occupational choice is one of the most important and complicated tasks in young person’s life because the chosen occupation strongly influences all fields of life, the personal happiness and also a successful integration into the society. Occupational choice is a very complex, multiple phenomenon that is determined by internal and external factors. Research subject – occupation choice factors of vocational training centre students. Research Hypothesis: 1. Internal factors – abilities and interests are the most important for occupational choice of Vocational training centre students. 2. External factors – family (parents’) socioeconomic status and occupation prestige are the most important factors for occupational choice of Vocational training centre students. Research aim – to investigate factors that influence occupational choice of vocational training centre students‘. Research methods: Theoretic – to identify what internal and external factors influence occupational choice of students; empirical - for quantitative research was used questionnaire; and statistical - analysis of quantitative research data. |
