Study examines elements of capitalism of the most innovative economies in European Union in 1998-2017. Research is based on P. A. Hall and D. Soskice theory of varieties of capitalism. Five institutions, which distinguish types of capitalism, are used as variables for the research: labor market, education and skills, stock and financial markets, employers’ relations and inner-company relations. Fuzzy set of a qualitative comparative analysis is employed and conjunction of elements of capitalism that is sufficient to explain economic innovation is found. |
