Abstract [eng] Bullying is the most common form of aggression at school and it achieves a lot of attention both in the scientific research and in the practical sphere of the social schools’ activity. It is a form of children aggression in the educational institutions, when permanent and intentional actions are made to insult or hurt another person or the humiliating and mocking words are used. Bullying might appear in different forms: verbal abuse, disregard, alienation, physical attacks, racket, taking away or breaking the personal items or writing unpleasant notes. The problem of bullying is worldwide spread and it is faced every day. The first research on this topic appeared in Sweden. A bit later other countries became interested in this issue, as well. The problem of bullying in Lithuania has been analysed since 1994. Various scientific articles and research reports identify the phenomenon of bullying as one of the most menacing social phenomena in our society. According to the data of the World Health Organization, in Lithuania about 70 percent of children have experienced the peer bullying at least once. While analysing the foreign and Lithuanian literature, it can be noticed that bullying is a relevant problem in our society, which requires an effective prevention programme. During the investigation of the scientific literature it appeared that there is rather a big number of the research carried out on topic of bullying at schools, however, the data about cases, forms and bullying expression forms in the non-formal musical education is lacking. There is no available information whether children attending the non-formal musical education institutions experience the bullying from peers and teachers. Thus, this fact may be approached as a relevant and novel problem for the research. Research object – bullying expression trends in the musical schools of students’ and teachers’ attitude. Research aim – to reveal the extent of the bullying and its expression trends in musical schools.
