Abstract [eng] Currently the strategic management gets considerable attention. Education system also needs a strategic management. Sports is not available without planning in which shall be arranged all the acts directions, objectives, challenges, management principles.In this research there is found out the advantages and disadvantages of children and youth in physical culture and sports activities management.Preformed strategic management fields of children and youth physical culture and sports activities in Kelmė district; therefore characterized improvements of these activities. The physical culture and sports system management shall improve the success of sports activities. The research revealed there is missingmanagerial control; organizational skills which directly give negative impact for Kelmė children and youth sports school popularity and work quality as well for popularity of physical culture and sports in all district area. As throughout Lithuania, in Kelmė district it is low sports activity among scholar age children. This causes a leak of sports and wellness events and disadvantages of strategic management of sports authorities, unprofessional working. Sports infrastructure in Kelmė town is one of the worst in Lithuania. Kelmė children and youth sports school does not have its own sports facilities. Only in the year 2011 it was initiated a project of Kelmė sports center and now it is implemented. It is likely will be on time and qualitative completed inthe year 2017 where Kelmė town sportsmen shall do the trainings in modern and fulfilled all requirements sports center. Also Kelmė district people shall easily have healthy lifestyle and physical activities in their free time.
