Abstract [eng] In master’s work it is seeking to choose the macroeconomic indicators that affect Eastern European stock indices 2000 - 2013 period and to investigate whether to choose macroeconomic factors affect stock indices. The Master's works consists of three parts. The theoretical part of the work’s, an analysis of Lithuanian and foreign scientific publications, the stock and stock index concept, isolate factors, which are used by scientists and present methods that have been used in empirical research. Following a thorough analysis of the scientific literature, were selected four macroeconomic indicators, the gross domestic product (GDP), harmonized consumer price index (HICP), the unemployment rate and industrial production index (IPI). The analytical part justified select survey data and methodology. It is also carried out for Eastern European countries, selected macroeconomic indicators and stock index variation analysis 2000 - 2013 period, identified the main reasons why the other indicators. The analysis showed that the greatest impact during the period the Eastern European stock indexes and macroeconomic indicator were in 2008 year global financial crisis. You can see the trend that across all of the Eastern European countries moving from boom to recession and the exchange of selected macroeconomic indicators, exchange and stock indexes in those countries. Constructive part using mathematical and statistical methods - analysis Eviews package was examined to choose macroeconomic indicators affect stock indices change. The examination of macroeconomic indicators and stock index mutual interaction was used quarterly data, in order to get the most accurate results. An investigation showed that the analyzed countries of Eastern Europe 2000 - 2013 period, to choose different macroeconomic indicators influenced stock indices.
