Master's work examines wage differentiation in Lithuania in 2007-2014. The study highlights the wage differentiation situation in Lithuania. The work consists of three parts. The first part presents the concept of wage, excluding wage functions and structure. The theoretical structure in detail by wage systems and forms. Since the further work study widely considered the minimum wage, so widely describes the minimum wage influence wage differentiation. To theoretical and empirical point interfaces, theoretically justified and detailed wage differentiation factors triggering the same wage differentiation described species. The second part analyzed the Lithuanian minimum wage, compared with the European Union. It was found, that the minimum wage in 2007-2014 Lithuania received from 12,4 to 19,4% of total employment. According to the average minimum monthly wage (239 EUR) Lithuania outpaced only Romania and Bulgaria. However, according to the average monthly minimum wage of an average monthly salary in Lithuania is in a good position. After wage differentiation study it found that the public sector has a higher salary values. At the same time observed wage differentiation between the public and private sectors. Examination of wage differentiation according to county Lithuania, found that there is a slight differentiation. Based on the correlation analysis to identify links between wage developments and economic factors. In the third part, an analysis of the scientific literature accompanying wage differentiation Lithuania normalize policies and measures. It should be noted that, the wage differentiation is proposed to solve the problem of normalization by adjusting the minimum wage, tax deductions and taxes. |
