Abstract [eng] The analysis of the scientific literature about the theoretical concepts and signs of the good school is exposed in the this work. The two statistical hypotheses are exposed, because attitudes of teachers and students are compared to each other in th Student's criterion Hypothesis0 - the attitudes of teachers and pupils to a good school is analogous. Hypothesis1 - the attitudes of teachers and pupils to a good school is diferent. The research is done by questionnaire study which is aimed to analyze the attitudes of pupils and the teachers to a good school. It was involved 280 respondents to the quantitative study. They separates to 177 pupils (VI-XII classes) and 103 teachers. The teachers and pupils of the Radviliskis district schools take the place in the anonymous questionnaire survey. It was done the statistical analysis of the data (descriptive mathematical statistical methods: frequency, mean, standard deviation calculation). The main conclusions of the research: 1. The most important things for pupils are to feel good in school, to be safe, to ensure the quality of the teaching process, to organize career education of pupils, to prepare the pupils to the higher levels of education, the successful further education, the school community is concentrated in the objective and the school make decisions and organize the educational process taking into stakeholders (pupils, parents, etc.) groups. These criterions of the good school holded forth a higher value. 2. The teachers named the most important characteristics of the good school as a creative, hard-working and highly qualified teachers, the school prepare pupils to the higher level of the education and to the successful further education, the teacher - the authority to the colleagues, to the pupils, to the parents, the school takes decisions and organizes the educational procedures in compliance with groups of the stakeholders (students parents and so on.), the school vouchsafes the obvious and the generally accepted rules of the moral, order and discipline, the school encourage and support good relations between the school and parents. The teachers provide a higher value to the these criterions. 3. The null hypothesis that is raised by research that the attitude of the teachers and pupils to the good school is analogous, didn't confirme. The alternative hypothesis that the attitude of the teachers and pupils to a good school is different, confirmed. Espacially striking difference between the education and learning of the pupils, leadership, the environment appropriate to the learning, the culture of the school (as an organization), in the describing the features of assessment of good school.
