Bullying - one of the most actual problem. Different authors bullying leads to all the complex reasons; individual and environmental, social, psychological, biological, medical factors. Bullying is a serious problem in schools. They undermine students' well-being, self-assessment, pose a threat to public mental health. The hypothesis that it is likely that the prevalence of bullying, response to bullying, actions during bullying, causes and different methods of bullying depends on teenagers sex and age. A quantitative study was conducted by questionnaire survey method aimed at systematized knowledge about the causes of bullying and evaluate social-educational solutions in mainstream schools. The statistical (descriptive χ2 averages) analysis of the data was carried out. The study included pupils from 6 till 10 classes, 231 pupil of the Radviliškis X school. The aim was to analyze the concept of bullying, the prevalence of bullying in Lithuania and foreign countries, reveal the causes of bullying in mainstream schools, pupils' attitude towards them. The main conclusions of the research are: 1. Bullying ways among boys - slander, persiflage and irritation, damaging things, pushing, ignoring or not communicating. One of the main ways of bullying among girls is gossip, as well as frequent ignoring, not communicating, persiflage and irritation, damaging things, shoving. 2. Of all teens ages students feel safe at least during the breaks according to the survey. Early adolescence students feel insecure before classes and after school. 3. After analyzing the causes of bullying, the prevalence of the theoretical and practical aspects, prevention of bullying assistance to bullying experienced teens effective only if it is consistent impact on children and families with social, educational, legal and financial framework. |
