Abstract [eng] Master's thesis goal: explore and justify volunteering as career assumption. In Master's thesis dealt voluntary sectors, forms, functions, its legal regulations, voluntary motivations, career planning, skills needed for career success and provides the interface between the voluntary sector and professional career. Lithuanian AIESEC alumni and professionals of recruitment/managers evaluation stage has been done. A survey was used to carry out the study, which was addressed to AIESEC Lithuania alumni interviews and a questionnaire, which was sent to the personnel recruitment specialists. After the investigation and analysis of the results, it was found that the young people who are studying and taking part in volunteering activities have the advantage of career planning than those who did not participate in any extra activities. It was found that the former AIESEC organizations volunteers confirmed that the volunteering organization influenced their successful professional career path. Recruitment specialists have confirmed that they have met with the analyzed organization members. Therefore interviewed specialists were able to present their experience that has been positive to AIESEC Lithuania alumni in respect. Former members of the organization were defined as persons who can boast of leadership traits, communication skills and a clear understanding of how business works. The analysis of scientific literature and empirical research has been confirmed by the final master thesis hypothesis that young people, who studies currently engaged in voluntary activities, after graduation they could could easily find a desired job. Recommendations for students were submitted in the interviews with personnel recruitment specialists.
