The Master's thesis describes the current state of existing public-private partnership theme. The work consists of two theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part represents the concept of partnership and its evolution worldwide, the opinions of various authors, recommendations and insights into the becoming most popular one in the world and the testing of the collaborative way newly accomplished in Lithuania. The practical part carried out existing public-private partnerships of Lithuania including the prevalence of promotion policy, unpopularity causes and the findings of audits, analysis of road infrastructure in the state, the funding situation and problems. Here, the work analyses „The Project Implementation of the Palanga Bypass Construction and Maintenance“ as a first time on transport infrastructure PPP in Lithuania. This means the cause of creation of the project, the difficulties, the achieved purposes and disadvantages. It also elaborates the interview obtained from experts’ opinion, their findings and recommendations. The main objective of the analysis of the theory and practice was to find obstacles facing a successful public-private partnership, and to make recommendations for improving these partnerships and achieving better results. |
