This final Master's thesis is aimed to assess the first results of the public service competency model, which is newly implemented in the Republic of Lithuania, by choosing the separate case of Mažeikiai district municipality. The research chosen is based on the insights of Lithuanian and foreign authors, that public servants and their competencies are currently the most important factors for ensuring effective state management processes. |
