Abstract [eng] Milius A., Investigation of human eye-hand coordination: Master thesis of Signal Technology / research advisor Dr. R. Zemblys; Šiauliai University, Faculty of Technology, Physical and Biomedical Sciences, Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, - Šiauliai, 2016. 47p. Early studies revealed that the hand and eye sensomotoric systems influence each other, however only when periodic target movement was given to participants. But in real life many targets move in unpredictable trajectories. More recent research showed that even when target is non predictable, eye-hand tracking condition can improve parameters of eye movements. The aim of this study to investigate the influence of hand tracking to eye movements when participants follow a random trajectory targets. In this study 18 adults participated in eye-hand and eye alone experimental conditions. The results confirmed that hand movements have influence on eye movements, however in opposite way than demonstrated in the most recent study. Linear mixed effect analysis showed that tracking was significantly more accurate and delay was significantly smaller in eye alone tracking condition.
