The paper analyses the conception of educators ̳ competences of management and attitudes to educational activities in non-formal institutions. During all times both in Lithuania and all over the world people discuss education, its role in human life and formation of values, and priorities of educational policy. Educational process cannot be imagined without the role of an educator. Also,in is closely connected with educator ̳s qualifications and ability to professionally develop a personality. In general, competence is person ̳s knowledge, skills, abilities, values and capability to act to achieve the certain aims. The analysis of scientific literature showed that non-formal education is an important part of development, which answers the demands of students needs for cognition, development and self-expression. Also, it helps to become active members of society. The main problem of the paper is organisation of educational process based on educators competences of management in non-formal institution and how development of the competencesinevitably encourage changes both aspect of the career of individual and improvement of institution. The topic of the paper was chosen in order to find out how the educators competences of management at work infuence educational process, and how they ensure more effective development and achievement of better rersults. The main aim of the paper is to show the role of educators ̳ competences of management in the process of development in non-formal institution. The methods of the paper are the analysis of scientific literature, questionnaire, analysis of statistic data. The educator, applying competences of management becomes a „manager―, because in a non-formal institution, an educator has to plan, organise, lead and evaluate students ̳ activities, however, it must be done in a more subtle way, which is different from strict standards of lessons. Summarising theoretical statements, it may be highlighted that educators competences of management are applied in educational institution, and the educator becomes a member of the organisation. The interchage of knowledge and information ensures the role of educators competences. The results of the paper revealed that educators competences of management are expressed in practical activities, in face-to-face communication with students in order to achieve better results. The results of the work will be useful to art and music schools because it is important to know what problems educators face with while assessing their educators competences of management in a non-formal institution. Development of educators competences of managementis one of the most important factors influencing the quality of education. |
