The purpose of this work was to define the main factors, forming subjective well- being of employees and to evaluate subjective well-being of Ukmerges municipality workers. The work consists of theoretical and empirical parts. Subjective well-being theories are discussed in the theoretical part and the main factors, influencing subjective well-being of employees are defined. Subjective well-being of 83 workers of Ukmerges municipality is analyzed in the empirical part. The authors made questionnaire is used in the research. The results showed, that workers of high subjective well-being are also more satisfied with their work and life, experience more positive and less negative emotions, characterize with higher self-realization scale. Age and salary were important for subjective well-being of employees and marital status was not important. |
