Abstract [eng] There were made theoretic analysis of the problem of dependence of alcohol and the help of sick by alcoholism people. Objective of the research: To identify the importance of social interaction in a process of convalescence, when the experience of depending from alcohol usage persons is revealed. The methodology of research refers social construction, personal enable theories. The methodological base of research consists of: analysis of science literature and documents, the method of questioning in written form (open type questionnaire). The question was written and there was left the space for the independent answer and the liberty of respondent’s mind isn’t limited. The answers to the questions were analyzed by the method of content analysis. Dependent from the using of alcohol and accepted people took part in the research: 8 members of the AA group (5 men, 3 women) from Šiauliai, their sober life term is from 3 to 13 years and 8 members of reinstatement community LPF “Agapao” (8 men), they came to this community from Šiauliai, Klaipėda, Vilnius. Their sober life term is from 2 months to 1 year. In the empirical part the real dependent from alcohol person’s experience was researching. There were identified outer and inner resources. The suspense (expectations) of dependant from alcohol persons was find. There were named conditions when convalescence is possible. The conclusion of empirical research: 1. The research results showed psychological, moral, social help, equivalent relation with the nearest social matrix. Interpersonal influence is important for exploratory in a process of convalescence. 2. An important aspect is the formation of favorable general opinion in the point of the dependent of alcohol using persons. 3. There is apparent reasonable lack of knowledge about alcoholism as an illness and its effect to man’s social development. There isn’t enough information about organizations and groups which can help, especially in countries, where the community is approached with alcohol and its “traditions”. 4. This research motivate elevated hypothesis: likely that social help (social interaction) determines the quicker stopping of alcohol usage for dependent of alcohol person; likely that the teetotalism determines the depended of alcohol using person’s inner and outer reserves; likely that equivalent social accept is the successful reason of convalescence and sustentation of teetotalism. 5. In the answers of respondents the help giving model DP changes from the clinical (medical by derivation) into social (interaction) help model.
