Relevance. Pre-school establishment helps child to develop targeted. Territorial community is the historically formed environment where individual and society interact, and it plays an important role in the socialization process. Information is necessary to manage with high-quality, in order it met the quality requirements. Furthermore, the information must be readily available to meet user needs. Lithuania lacks research on how information services are managed in the rural pre-school establishments, especially lacks data on rural pre-school establishment activities. There is no research on how information service is managed towards indirect users of pre-school institution users. The studies examined only the educational aspects of information services. Object of the research. Information services quality control. Aim of the research. To investigate quality management practices in the pre-school institutions providing information services, focusing on the territorial rural community, as the direct and indirect service user groups. Research methodology. The study is based on pragmatism, existentialism and constructivism philosophical ideas. The following is applied in the master's thesis: scientific literature analysis, document content analysis, interview method, questionnaire survey. The case study was carried out in Panevezys district, town N, belonging to rural area type. In the study participated: director of N pre-school establishment, N community chairman, 17 parents (guardians) of children not attending pre-school establishment, 42 parents (guardians) of children attending pre-school establishment and 92 other villagers. Results. LR pre-school and pre-primary education governing documents and N nursery - kindergarten Regulations (2005) provide meaning contexts of information service quality. Pre-school establishment lacks methods of information dissemination. It is more targeted to direct pre-school institution information users. There is no clear understanding of the functional purpose for information dissemination for indirect pre-school institution users. Master's thesis consists of three sections: literature analysis, survey methodology and empirical research results. |
